Hanoi University Promotion
During the whole month of November HUC has been training a group of very enthusiastic players from two Universities in Hanoi. During our practices on Thursday and Sunday we had 20 to 35 of these new students participating, together with the HUC-players we sometimes had more than 50 people! We often did not have enough discs and space and we had to improvise a lot.
For some HUC players the great number of beginners at our practices was a bit frustrating since there was so little time to play at the level they were used to. We understand their frustration but hope they realise that this is an investment in the future of Ultimate in Vietnam. Hopefully these newcomers will form the teams, which are needed to get healthy competition.
We hope that some of the talented students will become a member of the Hanoi Ultimate Club and that they continue to play Ultimate at their University.

Hanoi mini tournament
On 29 November HUC will organise a mini tournament in Hanoi. The tournament will take place at the sports field of the Water Resources University in Hanoi. The players from HUC, the young guns from UNIS (United Nations International School) and the new University players will play in three equally mixed teams for the 1st Ultimate Championship of Hanoi.

Ultimate Frisbee demonstration
HUC is asked to provide a ultimate frisbee demonstration in the District of Ba Dinh (part of Hanoi). A mix of Vietnamese and western players will play an exhibition game. This is part of the 'Shake Hand' Festival celebrating the arrival of the SEA games (South East Asia Games) which will be held in Hanoi from 5 - 13 December.
The demonstration will take place in the last weekend of November.
