FINALLY NEW GRASS
AND THE HOT SUMMER MINI TOURNAMENT
On May 9, we were finally allowed back on our familiar field at HITC again, which has been under repair for more than a month. During that month we filled our practices at the remaining field, with the size of a someone's backyard, with games of 'hot box' and a lot of throwing practice.
The small field we had to endure for such a long time
To celebrate the new lush field and the arrival of the long hot and sweaty summer HUC organised a Hot Summer Mini Tournament.
With four teams, lots of fruits and water we played a round robin competition. Team number three, with the cracks Marc, Phuc and Thu, dominated the pool games and remained unbeaten. In a close final, team number three just lost from a spirited team number four. Just before sunset the awards were given.
Final result:
1st place: team number 4
2nd place: team number 3
3rd place: team number 2
4th place: team number 1
After the prize giving we all went to Bia Hoi Pacific, for a flow of beer and a nice dinner, a good ending of our weekend.
We would like to thank the organisers and all participants for this wonderful afternoon of ultimate.
